BNM’s founder, Darell Russell is an artist, writer and activist from Richmond, CA. His undisputed talent has granted him numerous opportunities in the music industry, such as publishing deals, writers credits and features. His musical capacity speaks for itself, but what he prides himself most in is bringing people together and giving them the tools to succeed. He’s known through out the Bay Area for organizing events that benefit the community and respected by his peers as a dependable leader. After founding Brand New Money as a means to fulfill his personal goals of helping others while still being able to do music, its become something much bigger; a network of like-minded artists and professionals who know that you can go further and make a bigger impact together.

Brand New Money is a network of professionals, organized BY artists FOR artists, who know that the best art is made when tools are given to creators, rather than used to control them. Our mission is to offer individuals exclusive resources in an industry that can be hard to navigate as an independent entity. We believe the entertainment industry benefits as a whole when artists are empowered rather than utilized, and opportunities are given freely to support growth.
